HARTLEY—A Hartley man was injured in a one-vehicle rollover about 5:05 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, on Highway 18 west of Hartley.
Fifty-one-year-old Wayne Richard Davison was driving east when he reached down to pick up a cookie off the floor of his 2006 Ford F-250 and dropped the vehicle off on the shoulder, according to the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.
Davison overcorrected and lost control of the pickup, which skidded into the north ditch and rolled over through the a farm fence, coming to a stop on its wheels.
Davison complained of injured but was not transported for medical care.
His vehicle was totaled. The fence, owned by Tom Rieck of Spirit Lake, received an estimated $2,500 damage.
